Violet and her litter of six nursing kittens came in to the shelter on Thursday morning. After basic checkups, they were all healthy. I picked them up to provide them a quiet, safe space to finish growing up. Violet is gentle and a little bit shy, but loves affection when she gets used to the environment. The kittens were about three weeks old when they arrived, so after only one day of aclimation they were comfortable around all people. Violet had some issues with a nervous stomach, but the vet suggested that it might be due to change in diet. She was given special digestive diet food, and she seems to be adjusted after a few days of discomfort. The kittens are all pretty similar temperment. All very social and affectionate. They graduated for adoption on Thursday, June 4th.
