Whisper and her litter of four came into the shelter when the kittens were about 7 days old. She is a community cat, and so she is shy. She is also small and likely only about 1 year old by my reckoning.

Naranja and her litter of six were struggling with stress in the shelter. We brought them home to help with feeding and lower the stress. They all thrived and went back for adoption happy, healthy, and well socialized.
July 2, 2025 - July 10, 2025
He was turned in as a stray on July 1, presumed to be the day he was born. Despite the vagaries of his intrinsically tragic origin story, he is vigorous and growing quickly. His eyes opened when he was just 5 days old. He came down with an upper respiratory infection, and went back into the vet on July 10th for care. He loved to get purred up for a while after eating and before napping again. I'm sure he made his new family super happy.

An orphan litter was picked up as strays on Michigan Ave. They did fantastic, and came back to us after their surgery for a couple weeks, since the annual Cat Con adoption event was coming up August 2-3.

Chihiro and three of her four kittens, San, Howl, and Kiki, were adopted through the shelter when they were big enough. The fourth kitten, Mei, was adopted by us as a resident cat.

Sadly, these sweeties succumbed to feline panleukopenia. RIP

Dottie was found at a basket ball court in South Pasadena. She was our first foster. She has been adopted by us as a resident cat.
